Glenville State University invites applications for a full-time staff librarian to begin as early as January 2024 but no later than August 2024.
Founded in 1872 and located in the heart of scenic, central West Virginia, Glenville State University is dedicated to providing a personalized education to approximately 1500 students, primarily from West Virginia. Requires an ALA-accredited Master’s degree in Library and/or Information Science. Qualified individuals currently enrolled in such a program of study will also be considered. One to two years of experience working in an academic library as well as proven organizational, computer, and communication skills are also required. Strong academic background with an undergraduate major in the humanities and/or social sciences is desired.
